Hello coaches,
Hope you all are doing well. I am reaching out in regards to the Blackout 9 Livestock Judging Contest and Combine, February 28, 2025 hosted in Loveland, Colorado. We would love for coaches/universities to be a part in this event. We are looking for officials for the contest, but are also hopeful that this will be great recruitment “combine” for your program as well. Our idea is to have more hands on with students and parents such as a meet and greet throughout the course of the day or weekend. There are also opportunities for universities to offer scholarships to students of their choice. The classes will be open to anyone for practice use too. If you are interested, please reach out to me and I would be happy to provide more details and entertain ideas you all have. The Reid family has done a great job with the Blackout and appreciate them allowing the opportunity to continue supporting the livestock judging programs.
