Sept/Oct 2024 Fall Edition

H i, my name is old daughter of Joe and Deanna Seys, I attend Orion High School. I am currently a member of the Orion FFA and my local 4H club. From a very young age I always knew I wanted to show cattle, I wanted to follow in my brother's footsteps. When I was 8 years old, I started my show career, with my first show heifer Rose, she will always be a special one. In my first year showing I was lucky enough to exhibit the Grand Champion Maine- Avery Seys, from Coal Valley, IL. I’m the 14-year- Anjou heifer at NALIE in Louisville, KY along with being Reserve Maine Anjou at NWSS I will be forever fortunate for the opportunities I have been given, I would never be where I am today without my older brother, Caleb. He is the one that pushes me to work harder in the barn and does everything

for me. My heifer, Penelope, will hold a special place in my heart forever. Penelope, is a Data Bank on a Style Predator and was bred by Wolfe Cattle Company in Nebraska, sold by Lancaster National, England Show Stock and Minnaert Show Cattle. I have been very grateful for all the success I have had this year, with doing well at many jackpots and Reserve Maine-Anjou heifer at Junior Nationals. Then was honored with Winning the state fair which has always been a personal goal of mine. I am so thankful to have great people behind me helping outside of the ring. I could have never achieved this without Nelson and Keith England, Jason Minnaert and the rest of the England/ Minnaert crew. Lastly, I would like to thank my family for everything they do for me at home and shows. ●
