MEET THE LEARDERSHIP
KyleMortensen YardsManager
Kyle Mortensen is the legendary NWSS Yards Manager for more than 30 years in the running. He’s responsible for tackling the puzzle of pen assignments, overseeing our chute and tack crews, Yards sale operations and everything in between. He brushes shoulders with more folks in the Yards than anybody else and is one of the most important assets to the NWSS team. In the off-season, Kyle works as a safety manager down the street at the Purina plant all while getting roped into committee work and new facilities planning at the National Western. We’re incredibly grateful for Kyle and look forward to his seeing his leadership and knowledge back in action in the new Yards in 2022.
