HOWDY , a word I’ve grown accustomed to and have begun to use in my daily vocabulary since beginning at Texas A&M University. As a native of Faribault, Minnesota, and a Texas transplant, I have grown to appreciate every moment of my current life.

My name is Tar Tut, and despite my unconventional start in this industry, I have learned that no matter what

happens, someone, somewhere will always be there in your corner to support you in whatever you do. My story starts with my parents back in 1990, when they fled war torn Sudan. At that time, the Sudanese people were involved in one of the longest and bloodiest civil wars in history. They came to the United

States as refugees and first settled in Texas. My parents
