the cool room, water fights, and hide and seek with the lights off. We make the best team. When one of us has success we all have success, because we’ve all put in the work! Winning Grand Champion Steer at the Oklahoma Youth Expo was huge for my whole family. I’ve always dreamed of being a part of the limo ride in the grand drive at OYE. My dreams came true this year!! I never dreamed it would happen on my birthday. Stepping out of that limo with the lights and the music was so exciting. I’ve watched the grand drive since I was a baby; I finally got my chance. It’s been a goal of mine as long as I can remember. March 16, 2023, my 14th birthday, will never be forgotten! Not only the limo ride, but also being fortunate enough to have been selected Grand Champion Steer was truly too good to be true! But it really did happen and I’m so grateful for all my family and friends who got me there! My steer, Rex, came from Bonham Show Cattle. Rex was the sweetest steer anyone could have. He was so fun to show! It was hard to give him up, but he lived his best life. He had the easiest going, sweetest personality. He was a rare find! Naomi, my heifer, came from my cousin Baylor Bonham and friend Stock Martin. I had shown her many times before OYE. She won our county show, OYE as a cow
