I’d like to start off with introducing myself for those of you that don’t know who I am. I am Wesley Linke, President of the Junior Suffolk Board of Directors. I grew up on an acreage near Woonsocket, SD where we raise production oriented Suffolks! With springtime approaching, I hope you all had a great year in the lambing barn. Personally, for me, it’s my favorite time of the year. Hopefully the lambs are growing, and you’ve got your show prospects in mind. With that being said, we have some awesome events in the works for you guys to attend to show off your lambs! On behalf of the Junior Board, we have been hard at work preparing for the National Junior Suffolk Show held in conjunction with the All-American Junior Show that will be held in Madison, Wisconsin. I always enjoy seeing new faces in the crowd, so if you have any hesitations on coming, I want to let you know that we would love to see you there. With the growth of our junior membership, I truly do believe we will be back on top in years to come. To wrap this up, we’ve got a great group of juniors hard at work that would love to chat with any one of you with any concerns or questions. Thank you, Wesley Linke 2022-23 UJSSA President
