OSU SENIOR COLLEGE

Caden Arnold I am from Medina, Texas. I grew up showing cattle and hogs with my family. I was a previous member of the South Plains Junior College livestock judging team prior to my time at Oklahoma State. Judging for OSU has not only brought me together with some of my best friends, but it has also allowed me to pursue my passion for livestock evaluation as part of an extremely competitive team. Post-graduation I plan to pursue a masters program in beef cattle nutrition. • Oklahoma State University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a minor in agronomy. My future plans after I graduate are still up in the air, but it would be a dream and goal to someday be able to help in our show cattle and row-crop operation back home. Moving so far from home was a big step outside my comfort zone, but a decision I am grateful I made. I can not thank my coaches and teammates enough for the experiences I have had both in junior and senior college and I can not wait for the final run with my best friends. • Hunter Lock I grew up near Packwood, a small town in southeast Iowa. I help operate Lock Cattle Company where my family’s focus is raising show cattle and row-crop farming. I knew from a young age that I had a passion for the livestock industry so I decided to attend Hutchinson Community College to get an associate of science degree and join the livestock judging team. After junior college, I transferred to

Kyler Vernon I am from the coastal town of Arroyo Grande California. Along the way my teammates and I were all recognized Academic All-Americans, picking up wins at NAILE and Houston. Transferring to Oklahoma State University has proven to be such a rewarding experience so far. Currently I’m majoring in Animal Science with plans to attend law school back home in the future. Every step through collegiate judging realm I’ve been blessed with great friends and memories, however being apart of the winning team at American Royal and doing it with these folks will go down as an extra special one. •
