80% of the sale price will go to the exhibitor, 20% will go to the American Royal up to these price levels: Market Steers- $35,000; Market Lambs, Market Goats, and Market Barrows- $10,000. Once the sale price exceeds the below price, the exhibitor will receive 50% and the American Royal will receive 50% of the amount over the above price levels. Of what goes to the American Royal, 12.5% of proceeds from Market Steers will go to the Stanley Stout Memorial Scholarship Fund to support scholarships for the Supreme Junior Heifer Drive. 12.5% of proceeds from Market Lambs, Market Goats, and Market Barrows will go to support scholarships for the Breeding Ewes, Breeding Does, and Breeding Gilt Drive.
