of what happened has quiet set in. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion, so thankful to have achieved a dream that my family and I have worked toward for so long. My parents have always pushed my sisters and I to set high goals and dream big. My sisters and I have always talked about wanting to see one of us reach this milestone, and to finally make that happen feels surreal. I know this accomplishment isn’t just mine, it belongs to all of us. From the late nights rinsing heifers to the early mornings on show day, every moment has been worth it. The show cattle industry has given me so much more than awards and banners. It has given me lifelong
friendships, invaluable lessons, and a deeper appreciation for hard work and family. I’m proud to carry on our family’s passion and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Being in college has changed the way things run around our barn, but my parents have continued to make sure everything keeps going smoothly. This win would not have been possible without their constant hard work, support, and belief in us. I’ll forever be thankful for the countless hours they’ve spent in the barn, the miles traveled, and the sacrifices they’ve made to give my sisters and I every opportunity to succeed. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported
us along the way, my family, friends, and all the people in and outside the barn who have believed in us, offered advice, or lent a helping hand when it was needed most. Every bit of encouragement and guidance has played a part in helping me reach this goal, and I’m forever grateful for that support. A special thank you to Tim, Emily, the Schaeffer crew, Ross Wingert, Adam Miller, Riley Godwin, and Trenton Tosh for always being in my corner and helping make moments like this possible. Every bit of encouragement and guidance has played a part in helping me reach this goal, and I’m forever grateful for that support. ●
