me to compete at the highest levels in the educational and speaking contests. These events and associations have shaped the person I am today and have helped me set goals for my future. When I think about this particular journey, one word stands out: ENDURANCE. Everyone in the livestock industry knows this is a long game. My steer, White Castle, didn’t want to be a show calf when we first got him. It took patience, consistency, and a lot of time for me to earn his trust. Our jackpot season wasn’t the most successful either, but we believed he had the big pieces and the potential to come together when it mattered most. When Fort Worth arrived, his endurance, build from the inside out, and presence in the ring proved exactly what we believed all along. One of the best parts of this experience has been seeing how many people across the country have been genuinely happy for our family. The livestock industry is competitive, but it’s also full of people who support each other, and that is why I want to continue to help other exhibitors and continue advocating for agriculture wherever I can. This win will definitely help me continue to help,

just like all of my previous buyers and supporters have allowed me to keep chasing my dreams. I’m especially grateful to Blaine Rodgers and his family for being incredible role models, finding White Castle, and trusting us to feed and show him this season. My family has supported me every single step of the way — from my dad’s feeding advice to my mom’s showmanship coaching and encouragement on both the good days and the tough ones. There are countless people that have had a role in this success but most importantly, Our God is so good, and I feel incredibly blessed for every opportunity He has given our family. This championship isn’t just about one steer, one show, or even one season. It’s about family, faith, and the endurance it takes to keep moving forward even when things don’t go your way. If there’s one thing this journey taught me, it’s that success in this industry doesn’t come from one perfect day — it comes from the years that you keep showing up when nobody is watching and ultimately, trusting in God’s plan. I hope my story leaves you all with the confidence in knowing that anything is possible! ●
