Hi, I am Cannon Reimann, and I exhibited the Grand Champion Steer at the NWSS! I am 13 years old and am in 8th grade at Miller Junior High. I live in Ree Heights, SD and participate in volleyball, basketball, track, 4H, and FFA. Winning the steer show in Denver is every steer
showman’s dream, and I am so incredibly blessed to have won. Being on the green carpet in the steer grand drive is an accomplishment in itself, but getting to exhibit the champion market steer is on a whole other level. There are so many people who have helped me get to where I am now, and words can’t explain how grateful I am. My family has supported me through everything, no matter what I aspire to do, and I can’t thank them enough! Everyone helping at the barn was a factor in this win, and I couldn’t have done it without them. Even my friends at school who do not show have been very supportive even if they don’t understand everything. The night of the

auction and the grand drive hold a special place in my heart, and I had the best time possible in Denver! ●
