On behalf of everyone Involved I take great pleasure in welcoming you to the Thirteenth Annual WESTERN ELITE X2 IN ‘22 - SPECIAL EDITION ROUND ONE WILL BE 1/8/22 IN OKC to be held at OKLAHOMA NATIONAL STOCKYARDS - Oklahoma City, OK. Adjacent to THE CATTLEMENS CONGRESS . ROUND 2 WILL BE 1/15/22 IN THE “NEW YARDS” AT THE NATIONAL WESTERN STOCH SHOW IN DENVER CO . We certainly want to thank all of our friends and customers for their unwavering support of this Sale and our programs. Without you we don’t exist and we appreciate you more than words can explain. If this is your first time to the sale we certainly hope you enjoy the offering and that we can add you to our list of valued customers. As I thought at length this summer about where to have the Sale, too many times I heard people that were picking one had to bash the other. I thought, this is BS, there is too much good in both The Cattleman’s Congress and The National Western from a marketing stand point not participate in both. So, the decision to have two sales was made. Next to figure out what and how many to sell led to the ultimate decision that the time is right to have A DISPERSION OF THE MATURE COWS THREE AND OVER THAT ARE SOLELY OWNED BY DCC AND ALL OF THE BRED HEIFERS…ALONG WITH THE VERY BEST BULL CALVES . So there all here, along with the usual very best of the bred heifers for Bauman, Blackford and M Lazy Heart Ranch. As I have sat at my desk for most of the past week working on this catalog the thing that was most apparent to me was the number progeny and siblings of past years sale headliners in this offering. Folks you are buying a program here. My partners and I take great pride in bringing you a deeper, more consistent, higher quality set of cattle with more genetic potency and value every year. My goal when selecting this offering was to present a “No Holds Barred Set of Cattle” for These Events. And I hope that with your first glance at this catalog it obvious that we have done just that. The catalog is lotted a little different this year there highlights all the way through it…You will want to study every page. Regardless of your preference of color, breed, kind or pedigree…We think we have got something for about everybody. All the partners involved with the Western Elite make their sole living in the cattle business and we take very seriously the fact that our success hinges on your success. We have from the beginning committed ourselves to making this one of The Elite Offerings of the Sale Season…And we have ramped it up again for these special days. Quality is King in 2022, the true front end kind are more sought after and valuable than ever, no matter at what level of the business you participate. This set of cattle have as much earning potential as any we have offered. WE’VE SET THE BAR HIGH AND THE QUALITY RUNS DEEP …Please visit CCI. LIVE or DUELLOCATTLE.COM to view the video previews. The Females for ROUND 1 will be at Oklahoma National Stockyards and the Bulls can be viewed in The Herd Bull Display at Cattleman’s Congress starting Thursday January 6th. ROUND 2 will on display in “The New Yards” starting Thursday January 13th. We would invite you to view the cattle at our ranches any time prior to the Sale. We look forward to seeing you in OKC and Denver, please call if we can be of any assistance to you.

• As I start to prepare the catalogs for these to offerings I am overwhelmed by the number of great individuals that are daughters and granddaughters of past LOT 1 or LOT 2 in the last 10 Western Elites. So it might seem like the pressure is on to find the appropriate Individual for that covenanted Honor. NOT AT ALL…THIS IS THE ONE!!! • 7005 IS AN ABSOLUTLY STUNNIG INDIVIDUAL that I have loved since birth. Her mother is the great Alias cow 7522 that has long since passed but truly left a bold mark on this cow herd. It would take pages and hours to document the contributions she has made at DCC. • She has got a really good daughter that Sells as Lot 59, had an outstanding holdover sized That’s Right steer that recently sold to Charlie Wilson that I expect big things out of and has two full sisters that sell as Lot 236 and 237 in Denver. • 7005 is a Full Sister to the mother of the $50,000 Lot 1 in 2020, 5114. If you study these catalogs closely the influence of this cow family is monumental. It pains me greatly to part with any portion of this great cow!

• A fair picture of an awesome cow THAT ABSOLUTELY DESERVES TO BE LOT 2. She looks exactly like she did in her Two Year old Picture except STOUTER, maturity has been very good to her. • This cow checks all the box’s and has all the BELL’S, WHISTLES and WOW FACTOR to be a big time DONOR FOR STEER PRODUCTION AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. She has had two sets of twins and a damn good That’s Right heifer last spring. • She is Co-Owned with Sheri Smith and Tommy Meek. The cow has never been flushed but desperately deserves to be.

• I challenge you to find a bigger boned, hairier legged cow with more hip. I have absolutely loved this female since the first time I laid eyes on her coming off the trailer at 2 AM with a flashlight. Christy found her for me as a bred heifer in Ryan Went’s Sale in 2016. • She is absolutely amazing. Her first proof of greatness was Blitz, a bull by Maternal Made that was a Sale Highlight in 2018. I couldn’t have been happier when Steve announced my good friend and loyal Western Elite buyer Brooks Shepard was my new partner. • She has been flushed once to BDR that yielded three awesome Heifers that are in these offerings. Critics might say she’s bad colored… I say BS, she can make them black, white or beautiful silver, and they will all be, stout, correct, hairy and way good looking. PHAF, DSF and THC.

• This is the first of the Turton x 3121 influence in the two offerings. I can’t say enough about the earning power and production of these cattle. There are 4 full sibs selling in the cow division of the two sales and several daughters and a full brother (Titan) is the sire of several of the bred heifer. • It all begins with 3121 who was the $20,000 ½ Interest Lot 1 in 2018. She is doing great things for Howdy Tucker in TX and DCC. Howdy has focus more on making steers and is doing very well with it. 3121 IS THE MOST UNIQUE TROUBDOUR COW IF EXITANCE! • IGWT is automatic on these females the first proof is her daughter (0004) that sells as Lot ___ in Denver the second is in the replacement pen at DCC. So she is due for a great steer. THE OPPORTUNITIES are endless here.

SELLING ONE HALF INTEREST – POSSESSION AND/ OR THE OPTION TO DOUBLE UP AND OWN HER ALL IS NEGOTIABLE AFTER THE SALE. • Sometimes you just get lucky…Truthfully the only reason that this great cow is still here is that she was the runt of the litter and because of that didn’t make the sale as a bred heifer. This little cow is very impressive and can flat raise them. Her first calf Sells as Lot 63 and is impressive. Her second calf (a heifer) by IGWT sold out of the pasture for $20,000 ½ Interest. • But it all makes sense. She is a BDR out of the $50,000 Lot 1 in 2020 (5114) that NEVER MISSES and 5114’s maternal grandmother is the great Alias Donor 7522 the Dam of Lot 1 in this offering. • This young cow is massive bodied and has about as much muscle as you want in e female. She’ got excellent feet and legs with the really squishy pasterns. Sells Safe back to IGWT.
